Nathena’s Favorite Chicken Salad
- 1 12.5 ounce can of chunk chicken breast
- 1 hard boiled egg finely diced
- ¼ cup of real mayonnaise
- ¼ cup of Jailhouse Jalapeño Brew
(Use real mayo instead of Miracle Whip™ when adding Jailhouse Jalapeño Brew to your chicken salad recipe, otherwise your chicken salad will have too much of a sweet flavor to it.)
Atomic Jalapeño Wraps
- 1 bottle of Jailhouse Jalapeño Brew
- 12 medium to large jalapeños
- 1 pkg of cream cheese
- 1 pkg or 12 strips of bacon
- 24 little smokies
Smoothly blend cream cheese with 1/2 of a bottle of Jailhouse Jalapeño Brew. (Use a hand held mixer to blend the brew and cream cheese to make the dip smooth.)
Cut your bacon strips and jalapeños in half, take out the seeds from the jalapeños then place the cream cheese mixed with the brew inside the cavity of the jalapeño then top it with a little smokie. Wrap the bacon around the jalapeño and secure with a toothpick.
Preheat oven to 375° and bake until bacon is crisp. This takes about 25-30 minutes.
Using a smoker: Preheat smoker 250° and smoke Atomic Jalapeño Wraps for about 2 hours.
Recipe # 34 Jailbird Butter
- 2 Blocks of cream cheese
- 1 Bottle of Jailhouse Jalapeño Brew
Soften cream cheese and blend well with Jailhouse Jalapeño Brew. Let the Jailbird Butter chill in the fridge for 30 to 60 minutes, then serve with your favorite cracker or pretzel. Also use it as a spread on your favorite sandwich to give it a tangy zip.
Recipe # 25 Jailhouse Cornbread
- 2 boxes of Jiffy™ Cornbread mix
- 1 bottle of Jailhouse Jalapeño Brew
Prepare and bake the cornbread mix according to the instructions on the Jiffy™ box, add to the mix, 1 bottle of Jailhouse Jalapeño Brew into the cornbread batter (stir up really well) and bake according to the instructions on the Jiffy™ Box. (this recipe is amazing).
Cousin Wanda’s Brewin’ Dip
- 1 can of artichokes chopped
- 1 pkg of frozen spinach thawed and drained
- 2lbs colby jack cheese grated
- 1 lg can of green chilies
- 1 8 oz block of cream cheese softened
- 1 cup of Jailhouse jalapeño Brew
- 1 cup of bacon bits
Mix all together, spray 8″ x 8″ Pyrex™ pan and pour in all of the mixture. Bake @375˚ for 30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
Cousin Wanda’s Beef Taquito Rolls
- 2 cans of croissants
- hamburger
- Jailhouse Jalapeño Brew
- shredded cheese
Lay out croissants, use two croissants for each taquito roll, pour JailBrew on the croissant then add your hamburger and top the hamburger with shredded cheese then roll up and bake until golden brown.
